 December 3, 2007:
We attempted to visit Haleakala for a hike, picnic and sunet over the crater.
It was pouring rain and visibility was poor...
when we hit the ranger station, we were told it might be best to turn back and come another day. Nice ranger...born and raised in Portland :). We stopped by
the Maui Ocean Center on our way back, figuring it was a perfect day to visit given the less than ideal weather conditions.
While there we ran into none other than our poodle friend, Nani again, and thought enough to ask for the human's name too; it's Tim. Tim and his wife
are originally from Wenatchee, Washington. They moved to Napili about a year ago...they have a very nice dog!
That night we all played murder.
